The Hurdle: The organization needed to purchase corrugated boxes to distribute donated medical supplies to Ukraine, but high packaging costs were limiting how much aid could be shipped.
The Win: By redesigning the box specifications and sourcing strategy, we reduced the per-box cost by more than 30% while simultaneously increasing box strength. The savings enabled a greater portion of donated funds to go directly toward shipping additional medical supplies to Ukraine.

The Hurdle: Significant quantities of perfectly good food were being discarded because they fell outside the organization’s standard distribution channels.
The Win: We identified and connected ICA with partner organizations capable of utilizing the surplus food, ensuring that more resources reached people in need rather than going to waste.

The Hurdle: The organization lacked a system to effectively inventory incoming donations, making it difficult to track and prioritize high-value medical items for shipment to Bolivia.
The Win: We developed a smartphone-based scanning application that allows staff and volunteers to quickly log incoming items and maintain a real-time inventory of critical medical supplies, improving visibility and enabling more strategic shipments.

The Hurdle: The organization required pallet racking to expand storage capacity but had limited funding to purchase new equipment.
The Win: By collaborating with a partner organization, we secured pallet racking at cost, supporting Feeding Furry Friends’ mission while also creating a meaningful marketing opportunity for the donating partner.
